Our annual Beat the Heat: Family Resource Carnival helps families prepare for summer by providing an array of agencies, games, and summer resources designed to help your family Beat the Heat and stay healthy, safe, and engaged during the summer months.

Volunteer with Us

Volunteers are needed the week before the event to sort books, lead book drives, and pass out flyers. We also need volunteers during the event to run carnival games, prepare and serve food, and more! Invite your friends, family, colleagues, or church group to participate in this event benefiting families in Fort Worth’s Historic Southside and surrounding neighborhoods!
